A bit about you:
3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator for a commercial general contractor
Estimating experience with commercial projects valued at $5M-$30M+
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Procore
Ability to meet tight estimating deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication skills and leadership ability
A bit about tasks:
Maintain a database of qualified subcontractors and suppliers and manage prequalification
Lead pre-bid meetings, plan/spec distribution, and bid day operations
Coordinate with outside trade organizations and plan services, building strong subcontractor relationships
Manage online bid solicitations and update the database with proposed and awarded subcontractors
Prepare project management turnover documents for seamless project execution
