A bit about you:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design, with a focus on healthcare projects.
PE license required (or in progress)
Expertise in healthcare building codes and regulations
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and project expectations
A bit about tasks:
Lead the design and engineering of plumbing and fire protection systems for complex healthcare facilities
Collaborate with internal project teams and external clients to ensure design goals are met within budget and on schedule
Conduct thorough design reviews, system modeling, and code compliance analysis
Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
