A bit about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Structural, or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis

  • Active California Civil P.E. license

  • Proficiency in structural design across steel, timber, concrete, and masonry

  • Strong knowledge of the California Building Code (CBC) and ASCE 7-16 (Chapters 13 & 15)

  • Familiarity with DSA (Division of the State Architect) and/or HCAI (Health Care Access and Information) project standards

A bit about tasks:

  • Lead projects from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring seamless coordination

  • Provide design support and develop anchorage systems for architectural elements, mechanical and electrical equipment, and specialty structures

  • Assess framing systems for compliance with support requirements and optimize design solutions

  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers to maintain high technical standards within the team

  • Draft project proposals and deliver them to clients, highlighting innovative solutions and technical expertise
