A bit about you:
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Structural, or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
Active California Civil P.E. license
Proficiency in structural design across steel, timber, concrete, and masonry
Strong knowledge of the California Building Code (CBC) and ASCE 7-16 (Chapters 13 & 15)
Familiarity with DSA (Division of the State Architect) and/or HCAI (Health Care Access and Information) project standards
A bit about tasks:
Lead projects from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring seamless coordination
Provide design support and develop anchorage systems for architectural elements, mechanical and electrical equipment, and specialty structures
Assess framing systems for compliance with support requirements and optimize design solutions
Oversee and mentor junior engineers to maintain high technical standards within the team
Draft project proposals and deliver them to clients, highlighting innovative solutions and technical expertise
